Experiencing a range of emotions is a normal aspect of life. Nearly 2 out of 3 adults experience stress, anxiety, or depression on a daily basis. These feelings are never something you should feel ashamed of. Since the pandemic, there has been a large increase in mental health related diagnoses.
It's important to learn what your body is telling you. Your mind is the controller of everything. If your mind isn't feeling its best, the rest of your body won't either. Think of it as having a the flu. You typically call a doctor, take some medicine, and take time for yourself to feel better. Mental health is the same concept. Reach out to a licensed practitioner, take time to yourself, and reset to feel better. Medication may also be prescribed, but only with your approval.
Interstaff encourages you to reach out for help, whether that's through email, phone call, or using outside resources. Please view the resources page for more info.
