International Day of Friendship/ Community Day
July 30th is special at Interstaff!
Each year on this day, we have yearly challenges and engagements solely to engage and connect with each other. This is a day for Interstaff nurses to engage with fellow nurses and core staff. We want to create a sense of community through this special day.
You'll experience three Community Days during your time with Interstaff, and each will be different but somehow connected. The passing of each Community Day will remind you of the existing connections you've made in the US and encourage you to make even more!
You'll receive communication before July 30th about how you can get involved in our special Community Day.
We've selected July 30th as Community Day because it falls on International Day of Friendship, a holiday that focuses on "the idea that friendship between peoples, countries, cultures and individuals can inspire peace efforts and build bridges between communities."
The United Nations has said that the world's crises and problems can be confronted by "promoting and defending a shared spirit of human solidarity — the simplest of which is friendship."
